Nicolas Berg

Founding Partner & Deal Sourcing Switzerland

Nicolas Berg has 40 years experience as a serial enterepreneur and early-stage investor. Two of his success stories are cash.ch and XING. Further he was Co-founder in 2007 of a very successful Swiss VC: Redalpine. Since 24 years he is a a trainer, coach and jury member at venturelab, Startup Campus and Venturekick. He was a ski jumper and holds a MSc Ec from the University of Bern.

Jeroen van den Oever

Founding Partner & Co-Lead Life Sciences

Jeroen van den Oever has a broad experience as a CFO and an auditor with KPMG. Later he moved from Amsterdam to Montreux, Switzerland to start another entrepreneurial chapter as cofounder of DOPPL, now merged with Insphero. He is a member of the venture kick jury and an LP investor into Kickersfund. He hold an MBA in Economics and is a Math lover.

    Adnan Kareem

    Partner / Focus Life Sciences

    Adnan Kareem studies Medicine with a focus on Neurosurgery at Zurich University Hospital. He cofounded Young Surgical Student Association YSSA where he heads Education. He enjoys Entrepreneurship, contributing to Real Estate Development projects, AI and Coding. He grew up in Geneva and Zurich.

    Edvin Lund

    Partner / Focus Deep Tech

    Edvin Lund has a PhD in Optical Engineering and Chemistry. He has managed imaging communication satellite projects. He founded Lumiton Solar developing vertical solar systems. In Sweden he freelanced as technology consultant and business developer for industrial prototyping, clean tech and health tech. He created e.g. light sources for clinical studies and cancer therapy trials. Edvin enjoys AI and coding.

    Bea Knecht

    Venture Partner & Media / AI expert

    Bea Knecht is Founder and Board Member of Zattoo that provides digital TV in Switzerland and Germany. Before she developed software products for banking, HR and data center automation. Previously, she was an Associate Partner at McKinsey in Silicon Valley. Bea studied Computer Science in Berkeley and holds an MBA from IMD in Lausanne.

    Istvan Alpek

    Venture Partner & CEE Region

    Istvan Alpek has 30+ years experience as a serial enterpreneur and early-stage investor. He served as CFO/COO for successful startups such as CV Online and Euronet. He became a VC with 3TS and Primus Capital, and supported startups through AI Capital. He got certificates in Asset Management from Insead and in Venture Capital from Berkeley. Istvan is based in Budapest and loves kick boxing.

    Loris Mayr

    Cofounder – Venture Partner

    Loris Mayr was the #1 casual game developer of a Redalpine portfolio company when he was 14. He worked for Dealflow.eu, an early-stage Portugiese VC-Firm during his studies and advised portfolio companies of the European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund. He also has gained work experience in M&A and Corporate Finance. Loris holds a MSc in Business & Finance and a degree in Data Science from the University of St. Gallen.

    Natalia Novac

    Venture Partner – Life Sciences

    Natalia Novac has 16+ years experience with Venture Capital and Corporate Venturing as Partner of Delin Ventures, Corporate Venture executive at Eli Lilly and strategy executive at Merck. She did a Master in microbiology in Warwick and a PhD in microbiology in Karlsruhe. Natalia contributed to research as a postdoc. She supports  founders at venturelab and mentors healthcare business women.
